FIRST, you’ve got to know what you really want and what you enjoy doing!
What you should be asking? WHAT DO I REALLY ENJOY DOING?

NEXT, so ayun kapag may napili ka na, anong pwede mong gawin?
Pwede mong gawin to:
- Take free courses sa napili mong niche. Pwede din namang paid courses pero I will recommend yung free muna.
- Learn the tools na kailangan mong aralin. Kung free lang yung tools, make an account or download para maiapply mo agad yung mga natututuhan mo. Pwede mo ding i-add as portfolio yung mga samples na nagagawa mo kahit practice pieces pa lang, basta make sure na maganda at maayos at yung impressive kahit paano.
- Accept or apply to small projects na may kinalaman sa napili mong niche. Dun magsstart ma-build yung profile mo.
Remember: Learn ONE skill at a time.
At kung gusto mo na maglevel-up, magtaas ng rate or magdagdag ng service, it would be best na connected pa rin sya sa niche mo. Like kung Social Media Management, pwede mong aralin yung Facebook Ads Marketing.

Hi Jen, thanks for posting this… Having a niche was really helpful for me, it gave me more focus on my work.. It actually made me an expert on my chosen field in freelancing… When, I started freelancing, I was kinda lost… I’ve done this and that, but couldn’t have client’s to appreciate my work… Until the time that I had myself to focus on a niche.. I was able to improve my skills, and was able to get amazing feedback’s from my clients… Again, thanks for posting, It was really nice…
